(Dream date: 9th October, 2025)
I dreamed the following dream during the Feast of Tabernacles, 2025. It was a Thursday night, thus beginning the fourth day of the feast. During the day, I had been thinking about the news headlines in the media which were celebrating the proposed release of all the remaining Israeli hostages taken by Hamas. It seemed remarkable that the release date was to be the 8th Day of Tabernacles 2025 - exactly two years on, feast-wise, since the hostages were taken. It caused me to wonder if my dream of 16th October 2023 (see Feast of Tabernacles Revisited post) was prophetically related to the hostage release, because exactly two years had elapsed - two Feasts of Sukkot. If it was prophetically related, then it would seem that the people of Israel must have had a turn of heart towards God by the time of the 2025 Feast of Sukkot, and were thereby being blessed.
However, that night I dreamed that I heard the following words spoken:
"A prophet following his own thinking ended up giving a potentially other message than GOD intended - blessing Israel, who had gotten rid of her enemies blocks/reins."
The words were warning me that, despite the remarkable timing and seeming link to my earlier dream of 2023, the freeing of the hostages had been engineered by man, and not by GOD. If I had simply made my own deduction from the outward appearance of events, I would have been in danger of misrepresenting GOD's message of the October 2023 dream. I would have thereby suggested that GOD had blessed Israel, through her faithfulness towards Him, when the reality was that on this occasion Israel (and man, through Donald Trump and The LORD knows who else) had engineered the situation of hostage release.
This is a difficult thing to write, and I myself am in no position to judge Israel, or any man. I am also aware that GOD at times uses man and all things/beings to accomplish His Will. So how could I possibly know the difference, except that my dream had been warning me to not jump to conclusions? Even then, the word "potentially" retains a sense of unknowing on my part. I prayed and asked in meditation if I was to include this dream warning, and it was affirmed that I should.
The dream is a warning that, despite outward, physical appearances, and despite the seemingly extraordinary and symbolic timing of events in connection with my dream, only GOD knows. What we can be sure of is that the prophetic message regarding Israel remains the same as presented to the prophets of old: Israel will recognize that they have no alternative but to cry out to their GOD - not man; not the politicians of the nations - to save them. All nations will one day be against Jerusalem, and it will be their Messiah, Yeshua, who ultimately destroys Israel's enemies and brings a lasting peace. (see Zechariah 14)
Zechariah 13: 8, 9: "And it shall come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
“That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
But one-third shall be left in it:
I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
Zechariah 14: 1, 2: "Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem...
It is also worth noting the future (and current) worldwide relevance of the Feast of Tabernacles to all peoples, when they worship Yeshua, the Messiah, King of all nations:
Zechariah 14: 16 - 19: And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
