“THIS IS SHILOH: THIS IS ZION” by Nicola Wendrich
(Dream Date: 2000)
A few months after I had dreamed about education coming to an end, and upon praying for guidance about what to speak in a meeting of Christians, I had the following prophetic dream.
Harry and I reached the top of a high, rocky mountain, which we had just climbed. Harry, exhausted, lay down. Looking to my right, across the plateau of the mountain, I could see a large number of people in small groups, with the bright glow of firelight. This was a comforting scene, and I felt at peace.
I perched on the edge of the mountaintop, looking down onto a thick, dark, dark grey, swirling mist that surrounded the mountain. I knew that below this mountain was nothing but devastation and these thick, dark swirling clouds. As I looked, a voice spoke these words:
“This is Shiloh. This is Zion.”
The voice seemed to come from above, even though it was in my head - it was as if there was a huge Presence in the sky above the mountain plateau.
I woke up.
Dream Interpretation: When people follow the prophetic call to "Go to Shiloh," they can be assured that they are thereby being called to Zion. Shiloh, Zion, will be a place of refuge and safety from the dense, swirling devastation all around and below, very likely caused by the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27; Matt. 24: 15). Many people will assemble there. (This may have particular relevance for the 144,000 being sealed on Mount Zion, at some point between the opening of the Fifth and Sixth Seals of Revelation).
Additional info (for the Shiloh paintings):
Ancient Shiloh lies in the Samarian hills of Israel, in what is modern-day Samaria (or the West Bank), a region north of Jerusalem that is considered part of the historical Judea region. However, Biblically, Shiloh is in the territory of the tribe of Ephraim.
It has a height of 904metres (Mt. Snowden in Wales is 1085 metres). It is situated 36 km NNE of Jerusalem, 15km south of Shechem, and 20km west of the River Jordan.
‘Shiloh' comes from a root which signifies ‘to be quiet, peaceable and prosperous,' linking it with ‘Shalom.'
It is supposed by some that Shiloh was named when it was chosen for the resting-place of the ark. It was the first place where the tabernacle was set in the land of Canaan: Shiloh was the place of the house of God's glory – the Shechinah.
Joshua 18:1: Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.
Here then, was the place where God chose to place His tabernacle – right in the heart of the country. From this central point, the territory under the leadership of Joshua spread itself out north, south, east and west, and was divided between the different tribes.
Genesis 49:10: The sceptre shall not depart from Judah , nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh comes: and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
Excerpt from Nicola's book, ‘ABOUT US':
"We believe that world events will take place as described in the prophecies of the Bible. We are certain that Jesus will return, and are convinced of the importance of being on Mount Shiloh as that time approaches. It seems that for believers in the U.K., the signal to travel to Mount Shiloh will be the collapse of national education."
